Overview
Rotary sifters handle the highest throughput of any Frewitt milling head. A rotating drum screen classifies, deagglomerates, and safety-screens powder at rates up to 25,000 kg/h. The gentle tumbling action avoids over-processing, making rotary sifting the right choice when the goal is classification or deagglomeration rather than true size reduction.
The FlexMill SW-200 is the premium rotary drum sifter head, running on the FlexMill platform with automatic head detection, touchscreen HMI, and 21 CFR Part 11 data integrity. It handles up to 15,000 kg/h and screens material down to 150 microns. GMP/FDA compliant construction with optional WIP, CIP, and SIP cleaning.
The EasyMill RS-200 and RS-250 deliver the same rotary sifting process on a simpler platform with button-and-display controls. The RS-250 reaches 25,000 kg/h, the highest throughput of any unit in the entire Frewitt range. At 160 to 200 kg on a mobile stand, both models reposition easily between suites.
Lab-scale sifting starts on the FlexMill Lab platform, which includes a rotary sifter head for process development. The same screening principles apply at production scale, so parameters established in the lab carry forward to the SW and RS production heads.

Highest Throughput in the Range
The RS-250 handles up to 25,000 kg/h. No other Frewitt milling head comes close. Designed for high-volume production lines where sifting must keep pace with upstream and downstream equipment.
Gentle Classification
Rotating drum action tumbles material through the screen rather than forcing it. Preserves particle integrity for granulates and excipients where over-milling would generate excess fines.
Platform Compatibility
Rotary sifter heads share the FlexMill and EasyMill base units with conical sieve, oscillating, and hammer mill heads. Add sifting capability to an existing Frewitt line by purchasing a head, not a separate machine.
Inline Integration
Fits directly into powder processing lines between dryers, blenders, tablet presses, or packaging equipment. Safety screening, classification, and deagglomeration in a single inline step.
