Representation Inquiries
MHS Pharma is a manufacturers’ representative firm selling capital process equipment to pharmaceutical manufacturers, CDMOs, and engineering firms across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic United States. This page is for equipment manufacturers evaluating sales representation in our territory.
Territory
Our core coverage is twelve states: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. This footprint includes the densest concentration of pharmaceutical manufacturing, CDMO, and biotech process development sites in the United States. Territory is defined individually in each principal agreement, and our project work regularly extends beyond these states.
Market access
- Serving pharmaceutical manufacturers in this territory since 1996.
- Project history at sites operated by the world’s ten largest pharmaceutical companies, the major US-based manufacturers, and leading global CDMOs.
- Equally at home below big pharma: project history with hundreds of mid-size and small pharmaceutical companies across the territory.
- Established working relationships with the engineering, process development, and procurement teams who specify and purchase capital equipment.
Current lines
We represent these principals and do not take on lines that compete with them:
| Roller compaction and dry granulation | Gerteis |
| Powder transfer, containment, and aseptic filling | DEC Group |
| Split butterfly valves and aseptic transfer | ChargePoint Technology |
| Drug substance processing: reactors, filters, dryers | 3V Tech |
| Sieving and filtration | Russell Finex |
| Milling and sizing | Frewitt |
| CIP, SIP, and COP cleaning systems | McFlusion |
| Blending, lifting, and material handling | CDM |
Categories of interest
We are open to conversations with manufacturers of equipment adjacent to our current lines. In solid dose, our interests include tablet compression, tablet coating, capsule filling, and compaction simulators. In drug substance: centrifuges, and preparative and process-scale chromatography. In aseptic processing: lyophilizers, vial washing and depyrogenation, automated visual inspection, and container closure integrity testing. In bioprocessing: single-use technologies such as bioreactors, mixing systems, and tangential flow filtration. We do not take on equipment that competes with our current principals.
How we work
We sell technically. Capital equipment purchases in pharmaceutical manufacturing run long cycles through engineering, process development, quality, and procurement, and we work those projects from early specification through installation alongside our principals’ teams.
