Scissor and Post Platform Lifts — CDM
Overview
The CDM Platform Lift is a sanitary post lift built to move equipment and materials between floors in cleanroom environments. The platform is custom sized to the customer load and usable area, and can be loaded from up to three sides, allowing flexible access from any direction.
A precision ball-screw drive with a TEFC gearmotor, fail-safe brake, and Safety Ball Nut Clutch raises loads of up to 5,000 lbs on platforms up to 72 inches by 72 inches. The lifting column is 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish and fully enclosed motors and controls. Installation is available with or without a pit.
Every platform gate interlocks with lift movement, so the lift cannot operate while any gate is open. A patent-pending magnetic Positive Seal Closure covers the cGMP slot, and platform welds are laid, chemically cleaned, and passivated for a uniform sanitary finish.
Built for cGMP production environments. UL 508A certified control panel.

Key Features
Interlocked Safety Gates
All platform gates interlock with lift movement, so the lift cannot operate when any gate is open. Loading is supported from up to three sides.
Magnetic Positive Seal Closure
A patent-pending magnetic Positive Seal Closure covers the cGMP slot, keeping the slot sealed as the platform travels between floors.
Precision Ball-Screw Drive
A precision ball screw paired with a TEFC gearmotor, fail-safe brake, and Safety Ball Nut Clutch provides controlled, repeatable lifting up to 5,000 lbs.
Sanitary 304 SS Construction
The lifting column and platform are 304 stainless steel with a uniform polish, and platform welds are laid, chemically cleaned, and passivated.
Allen-Bradley Control Platform
A 6.5″ PanelView Plus 7 touchscreen, CompactLogix 5380 PLC, and PowerFlex 525 VFDs run automated sequencing from a UL 508A certified panel.
Maglock Gate Integration
Dual-channel, safety-rated maglocks can be fitted to new or existing floor and mezzanine gates, permitting motion only when all gates are closed and locked, with gate status shown on the operator panel.
