ChargeBottle Rigid Containers
Reusable Rigid Powder Containers — ChargePoint Technology
Overview

ChargeBottle is ChargePoint’s range of reusable rigid containers for the transfer, storage, and handling of bulk powders, granules, API, and intermediates. Each container connects to a split butterfly valve, so material moves between process steps inside a sealed path rather than being exposed to the room. The conical body shape is designed to promote complete powder discharge and straightforward cleaning.
Three families cover different process needs. ChargeBottle M and MX are 316L stainless steel containers rated up to 6 bar (87 psi) and capable of autoclave and SIP treatment, with the MX version adding an optional sightglass and purge port. ChargeBottle P2 is a lightweight HDPE container that is gamma stable for applications where a low-weight, single-grade plastic body is preferred. PuroVaso is a square LLDPE container whose footprint reduces in-process, storage, and transport space and suits in-container blending, handled through the matching PuroGrab system.
Stainless models comply with the European Pressure Equipment Directive. P2 and PuroVaso meet FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c), and PuroVaso is BSE/TSE free with gamma and VHP sterilisation compatibility.

Key Features
Stainless Steel for Pressure and Heat
ChargeBottle M and MX are 316L stainless steel, rated up to 6 bar (87 psi) and built for autoclave and SIP treatment where a sterilised, pressure-capable container is required.
Sightglass and Purge on MX
The MX version adds an optional sightglass for fill-level viewing and an optional tri-clamp purge or vent port, useful for inert gas purging and venting during transfer.
Lightweight Gamma-Stable HDPE
ChargeBottle P2 uses a joint-free HDPE body at around 1.5 kg for the 10 L size, gamma stable, for processes that favour a low-weight single-grade plastic container.
Square PuroVaso Saves Space
The square LLDPE PuroVaso footprint reduces in-process, storage, and transport space against round containers and is suited to in-container blending.
ATEX and Conductive Options
PuroVaso containers cover ATEX Zone 20, 21, and 22, with a Conductive Black grade rated for Zone 0/20, 1/21, and 2/22 and static-sensitive materials.
Split Valve Connection
Every container docks to a split butterfly valve for contained transfer between process steps, with handling ancillaries including hoists, vibratory collars, and the PuroGrab gripper.
Applications
- Transfer and storage of bulk powders, granulates, and API
- Handling of intermediates, buffer media, and excipients
- Containment of components such as vial stoppers and closures
- In-container blending with square PuroVaso containers
- Solid dose formulation and chemical synthesis workflows
- Biotech processing and aseptic processing applications
